The Malaysian Students’ Council of Australia (MASCA) is the official student representative council for Malaysian students in Australia; founded on April 2001 in Sydney, Australia.
Established across 6 states and 1 territory (except Northern Territory), it is the pinnacle driving force in uniting Malaysians here; regardless of their backgrounds, students and non-students alike. Therefore, South Australia is one of the States where MASCA is established: known as MASCA South Australia. |
Being the peak representative body for Malaysians in Australia, MASCA is recognised by the Malaysian Government through Education Malaysia Australia (EMA) and also regulated by the New South Wales Government under the Fair Trading Law.

Malaysian Students' Council of Australia, New South Wales Chapter (MASCA NSW) is the peak Malaysian student representative body for the state of New South Wales. We are a multiracial and multicultural organisation, depicting the true spirit of Malaysia. Decision made within the council is with the best interest of all Malaysian students within NSW.
MASCA NSW is neither a club nor a society but rather is a council. The council serves the interest and welfare of all 3,200 Malaysian students within the state highlighting on social, cultural and career development. MASCA NSW also provides the platform for interactions among fellow Malaysians through our events. |
Based in Melbourne, Australia, the Council consists of elected representatives of the 8,600-strong Malaysian student community in southeastern state of Victoria in Australia.
MASCA Victoria was formed to represent and serve the interests and welfare of the Malaysian student community specifically in Victoria, Australia. We act as the umbrella body towards 10 Malaysian Students Organisations (MSOs) here in Victoria. MASCA Victoria is an incubator of remarkable, exciting & scaling ideas. Through the 6 arms, we pool the necessary resources and direct them to student-initiated projects, be it about career, intellectual, sports, community service or culture. We also organise national-level-projects in concert with MASCA National and our state counterparts. |
MASCA Queensland Chapter aims to achieve the following goals:
1. Helping out with new incoming students to settle down (ie. transportation and accommodation); 2. Organizing social, sports, patriotic, and religious events that encourages unity amongst Malaysians; 3. Informing the Malaysian community on upcoming relevant events; 4. Preparing MASCA Queensland contingent to annual Malaysians' Summit of Australia (MASA); and 5. Registering and connecting students with Education Malaysia Australia to be informed on the welfare of Malaysian students in Queensland. |
MASCA ACT is a student council that aims to serve the welfare and interests of Malaysian students in the ACT region based on three visions.
The first vision, is to facillitate the interaction and unification of various Malaysian student bodies and their members in Australia. Next, is to promote the spirit of Malaysia amongst the Malaysian student community and the wider Australian community. Last but not least, to develop and equip the future leaders of Malaysia with the necessary skills. |
MASCA Western Australia is an organization run by students for students. MASCA WA is a multiracial and multicultural organization, depicting the true spirit of Malaysia. MASCA WA is neither a politically aligned organization nor a lobby group for any other interest group.
Our existence in Western Australia is to give hand to all Malaysian students in WA. The objective of MASCA WA is to unite all students from different level of education thus to achieve this objective MASCA WA is working closely with all our registered affiliates to ensure that the objective is met. |
